In fairness, I did say no musicals! Didn't even notice until after I posted the show. Not only is it a movie musical it's also a brilliant stage musical

There still seems to be some confusion what the theme is.

It's mega star with mega star

Think Barbara Streisand and Whitney Houston. Type of song. They didn't actually do a song together I don't think but you get the just

But what if they famously did one song no one knows their name for but it was featured on every trash CD infomercial that was played at 1-3am in the 90s on cable... think about all the bored lonely people that heard those commercials often and it being iconically annoying until they finally gave in and bought one. That means it's not trash after all, it's art. They're literally known for sleeper hits. It's just they're still asleep, that's all.
