Default Do you say ‘full.-well’ or ‘fully well’?

Full.-well just sounds incomplete to me in a really jarring way so that’s me answered. It just sounds like most people who’d say it don’t know that it should be “fully.” Or should it? I actually don’t know. But I know what sounds most-natural to me.

I don't really use the expression that often.

I've used either, but it's not a common phrase for me.

…most people know full well that it’s not a phrase I would generally use…

I can't recall ever using this term myself.
In either form.

Full well

No one has ever even considered saying ‘fully well’

"Full well" is an idiom used to emphasize that someone is completely aware of something, often something they should not be doing or something they are trying to ignore. It is most often used with the verb "know," as in "to know full well".
