I make a traditional pot with teacups for my desk, so it's usually several. (I love tea and beverages in general...)

It's the best way to experience tea. I have a ceramic, but also a cast-iron... and it keeps it hot when pouring into smaller servings... especially right now as I have a mild sinus thing with cotton ball throat going on. It's working beautifully

If I drank tea, that’s how I’d want to make it.

Hope you feel better soon.

I don't know anyone else here, besides our family, that has tried (and likes) Ovaltine. The one I'm accustomed to is more like a hot chocolate? I haven't had it in years to be honest. But it's great for the cold season.

None, I don't have added sugar or refined carbs in general at all these days. Healthy boy. .

Thus I generally don't drink tea, just coffee, as I only like sweet tea.

I do have the occasional tea with some sweetener but I'm not fond of the weird aftertaste of cheap aspartame etc so only if we've got this stuff in:

…I have an App to scan your foods and skin products etc…I’m pretty obsessed with it, I have to say and been surprised at how much it dislikes some things that I thought weren’t too bad…it doesn’t just assess salt/sugar content etc, it also detects the bad, toxics in products that are NO..!!!!!…I think it starts to have serious panic attacks when it’s put near any artificial sweetener ….

There's a Yuka sweetener syrup that's pretty similar to Sukrin I think. I've not actually tried it though it just pops up on Amazon as a suggestion sometimes .

…I just googled what some of the better sweeteners are and these are some that came up…Stevia, Erythritol, Xylitol, Yacon syrup…(…as you’ve said…)…Monk Fruit Sweetener….also, there’s honey as some of said and Maple syrup and just any kind sweet sticky substance…honestly, the Yuka App is so excellent though, it’s worth a download…it’s like a way of life…

If you're not bothered about the calories or carbs then honey and maple syrup are a great option. Personally I've dramatically cut sugars (and starchy carbs - so also no bread, rice, pastry, pasta etc) because in my old days I was getting massive sugar crashes in the late afternoon (to the point of it being practically narcolepsy) every day even though according to bloods my blood sugar levels were fine .

It's a miserable existence ... ... but to be fair I genuinely feel the best I have since I was in my 20's .

…so really you’re letting your body do the talking…you feel great so that sounds like a good plan and long may that feeling reign, as they say…

Maple syrup, anyone? (In a cuppa.) Or maple-sugar? Which one fits tea best?
