Good to see the councils fighting back. This is amazing and unprecedented. This government is only interested in lining their pockets. They really need to go before they bankrupt the UK.

They say they don't have money, but how much money they're spending on asylum seekers? They don't have to be in the most luxurious hotels. Cut the spending on that and they will have plenty money left.

The only potential is that they'll be stored in HMOs instead... hotels are obvious, but HMOs just look like houses.

LABOUR Yvette Cooper is fighting to keep the Epping migrant hotel open — despite the
High Court ruling it should be shut down for operating without planning
permission.

So let’s be clear: local councils and residents win in court, but Labour’s Home
Office swoops in to appeal and protect the migrant hotel instead.

This Government isn’t on the side of communities — it’s on the side of the
asylum industry. Britain deserves better.
