…the total weight of all the ants on Earth is estimated to be roughly equal to or even greater than the total weight of all the humans on Earth…

Earl Grey tea started out as a low quality tea with bergamot added to enhance the flavour and disguise it.

Even though it’s commonly thought to be named after him, it has no proven link to Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830s.

I once tried some by mistake as the t bags in the staff room got mixed up .. now bearing in mind that I have a very sensitive palate

Anyways , I actually spat it out as I thought there was some washing up liquid in my cup !

It certainly amused everyone else but I knew from that moment that I wasn’t an Earl Grey guy !

…in Nepal, there's a festival just for dogs called Kukur Tihar…. It’s part of the five-day Hindu celebration of Tihar, similar to Diwali…

…a man called Brendon Grimshaw bought a deserted island for $13,000….he planted over 16,000 trees, re homed protected endangered tortoises there and gave rare birds a home also and was then offered $50 million from a potential buyer…

…he refused the offer and today, Moyenne Island is a national park—living proof of one man's vision and dedication…
