I didn't realise that Emily was Emily Hewertson. She is quite big on political twitter and I've heard her on Radio 5 Live a few times. Think she has quite a lot of connections to political journalists

They definitely need to try and encourage the younger generations to improve their attention spans.

It will benefit them in so many areas of their lives, it's crazy how the media is encouraging them to basically be thick.

I hate nomination twists and that's all that's happened sadly.
It may improve and others seem to be enjoying it.
However in these first few days, for me it's a let down.

Plus it looks like a showmance or romance is already possible.
I'm afraid so far I'm not impressed.

I'm mainly watching it at this point just to keep up with you guys on here.

Maybe I'm changing in my liking now for BB
On launch night I felt it was a good set of housemates on paper.
It's just sunk for me since that night.

The unnecessary and awful eviction of Emily was bad enough.
Even though she likely wouldn't have been a favourite of mine.
All that thinking and planning to go in for ages, then barely hours in the house.
Ridiculous.
However then to have these 4 come in and decide on only 2 of the originals to be up for eviction.
That has soured this week bigtime for me too.

With really nothing else happening other than tedious conversation.
Just my view of course as others seem right into it.

Tbh I weren't happy with Emily's eviction either.

And with the current eviction, I don't understand why the newbies were immune?

And I wonder if my taste has changed when it comes to BB too.

It was evil to evict her in that way though it doesn't impact me really as a viewer because I had no time to get attached. However, that's also wrong because it made the cast feel cheap and disposable on the whole. But, to her credit, she's tagged herself in Instagram as "the shortest-lived housemate ever".
