For me a few reasons, after BB 11 I recall an amazing thread made by angus58,(brilliant member and where are they now),
However I had already made what I have to term 2 really good friends on here then too,namely Mockinator and Kazanne. I realised that in serious debates particularly, not only was I able to say my piece but I also learned a great deal from others with the same views and opposing views and often had my own opinion altered by taking on board what others said. I only joined the forum in the first place because someone I knew was a rumoured HM... but I saw some other website that was a virtual big brother game, and took part in that, and there were a few other TiBBers in that (Chrizzle, Billy, Tom, Legend ran it) so I sort-of joined the off-topic sections after that.

I was looking for a community to talk about BB. I found the other one first. Didn't like the format. Can't remember how I found this one but I liked it. I found all the other sections fun. Granted, 15 years later I still haven't wandered in all the sections but I like the core ones
