…it’s a Halloween Party…?..we all need to know what you’re wearing …but get ready Cherie’s way, that doesn’t take much time at all…put a bit of lippy on and run a brush through your hair…you’re an alcoholic, not a savage…

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - Results

Good evening all, and welcome to Task Master Halloween special!

4 of you are returning players and one-of you is new player who’ve taken up the challenge to impress the Task Master once again.

This time you were set 5 tasks to complete and these have been submitted to the Task Master for their judging eyes.

Tonight, I’ll reveal how the Task Master rated them all and reveal who has one the special.

As usual, I’ll do each round submissions, followed by the scores of that round.

TASK #1

Worst ‘treat’ you could receive when trick or treating

ANNIE

For me, the worst treat would be anything that invade my personal space.....therefore the worst treat I could get would be a Hug Voucher - some people would think that was sweet - for me its my worst nightmare for someone I do not know (and quite often people i do know) to hug me "shudder"

If it activates your gag complex while you're biting into it, I can't see this would be fun to eat. Not to mention any other "surprises" waiting underneath the top layer..

The worst treat anyone could give me are licorice allsorts, me and my cousin scoffed two whole bags of these when we were about 6, then we went to play we were rolling around in some hay when I was violently ill, can never look at them since.

Imagine the horror of pulling a packet of Parma Violets out of your bag at the end of the night, disguised as a treat but pulling the biggest trick of all time. You may as well just spray some Air freshener in your mouth.

Plus, Halloween is meant to be a fun holiday for the family.

WELL.... this is quite awkward because I think I would quite like 3 of these! One of them did genuinely make me recoil in disgust, and put me slightly off the slice of toffee apple cake I am currently tucking into...

I'll start off by giving one point to Player C because whilst I do agree there are some licorice allsorts that are gross and unpleasant, there are also some that are quite good and nice and I think that these could be quite pleasant to share amongst friends once you've done your trick-or-treating...

I'll give two points to Player D because again I do unfortunately quite like parma violets! I can appreciate these being a more acquired taste / having less variety than the all-sorts however.

Three points will have to go to Player E because whilst yes it is a very inappropriate gift for children, you COULD feasibly hope that they have no idea what they're holding and start fighting each other with them like lightsabers... and it's also just such a lovely colour scheme!

which means.... hmm... well actually this isn't close for me at all lol because the winner genuinely did make me feel gross. 4 points to Player A because I can understand why hugging feels a bit unpleasant for some - and also I think it would just be a really ****ing creepy gift to give to children if you're an adult stranger!

However Player B takes all 5 points because that image is FOUL and whilst I'm sure it might deceptively be quite nice-tasting, I could not get past the image of it and the smells it conjures in my mind... I love you previous cats, but this was traumatic.

This is a Unisex Butt mask so will suit a male, female or indeed non binary Task Master.

It’s latex, so super stretchy if they have a big head.

Halloween is all about the scares - what is more scary than a massive headless person with a knife dripping blood, The TaskMaster would look scary and huge in this costume.

And here’s how The Task Master ranked your costumes…

OK so in first place for this one I would put Player D because that image has an energy about it that says "this child, shortly after this photograph was taken, was sent to the void to be tormented by this bird for eternity, and some Eldritch deities feed off of his misery..." or words to that effect...

Next, in a close second, is Player C because I like that they've gone to the effort of detailing all of the individual pieces of the costume... although actually maybe this was the image as it already existed hmm... but yes as a full piece it all seems quite doable and easy-to-wear...

In third I have Player B because who doesn't love a decapitated monk? We can all pretend it's Dave from BB11.

Fourth... I'll put the Heidi Klum costume from Player E because whilst it is indeed good I have already seen it (as have half the world!) and I find it more bizarre than scary.

and whilst I do appreciate the consideration put into gender-neutral bottoms from Player A it is unfortunately just a mask, and not really a complete costume.

OK so this is tough...

I'll give 1pt to Player D because that is unfortunately just a little banner with words and 3 drawings, not enough of a scene I'm afraid

I am intrigued by whatever the hell is going on in Player A's drawing but I wouldn't really say this is a "scene" either, just a very strange figure...

Perhaps being a bit generous I've put Player B in third because um... whilst it does indeed tell a story of sorts, let's say perhaps that art is not something they have devoted much time to.

I like both of the other two but I have to put Player C second because I find it difficult to understand what this scene even means but I can at least spend a good few hours psychoanalysing it if I ever choose to...

which means Player E wins because I mean, come on... hang it in the Louvre and let it get stolen...

Tusk - A guy is kidnapped by a weird Walrus loving dude and surgically turns him into a Walrus. I admit I haven't watched the whole of this movie but the idea of it is one of the worst and ridiculously disturbing I've seen. It's also grotesquely captivating

I wanted to really pick Broken 2006, but I couldn't find a good video to show off it's poor quality.

But Paranormal Activity was just a generic Supernatural Horror Film imo, that really lacked in being scary imo.
