Not really, because there were plenty of points he could have brought up. Liverpool lost only four games last season, but they’ve already lost that many this season. The defense looks a mess; in six out of nine games, they’ve conceded two or more goals. That’s mid-table form, regardless of whether you spend Ł400 million on players. You can’t put yourself in a position where you need to score a minimum of three goals to win a football match. Instead, he and Carragher chose to complain about set pieces, as if teams need to play a specific style to beat them. Rather than whining, why not focus on how to defend against long balls and set pieces?

People forget that Slot was Liverpool's third choice to replace Klopp, after Xabi Alonso and, surprisingly, Reuben Amorim.

There are too many replacements, and in my opinion, it’s going to be Christmas or New Year before we see the best from them.

I'll personally be happy for Arsenal if they win something.

Because with all due respect, but they are kind of becoming like the England national team of club Football, it would be good for them to break that curse around them.
