It has just occurred to me though that the joined are vegetarian (sure they said it at the dinner table) and they don’t kill, and they can’t lie.

So maybe it’s just the dead bodies of those who died rather than killed by them and the powder is their bones??

imagine if it was aliens from outer space via virus vaxing that started the whole take over on earth
