Why is it racist to state the obvious? its just basic economics or as James O Brien would say...just counting
25 per cent of sexual assaults are carried out by migrants on women and girls, obviously a stat the extreme left are very comfortable with and well able to sleep well in their beds at night happy in the knowledge it will never be them

I'm not a Ratcliffe fan, but what exactly should he apologise to Starmer for? Having an opinion?

Didn't hear him demand an apology from Trump when he said much the same thing about Europe in general

He is 73 and a billionaire; he doesn't give a toss what anyone else thinks. People are saying he has a responsibility to Man U to keep politics out of football, but no-one else is, so why should he

"I am sorry that my choice of language has offended some people in the UK and Europe and caused concern but it is important to raise the issue of controlled and well-managed immigration that supports economic growth.
"My comments were made while answering questions about UK policy at the European Industry Summit in Antwerp, where I was discussing the importance of economic growth, jobs, skills and manufacturing in the UK. "My intention was to stress that governments must manage migration alongside investment in skills, industry and jobs so that long-term prosperity is shared by everyone. It is critical that we maintain an open debate on the challenges facing the UK." |

Nigel Farage dismissed Labour’s criticism of Sir Jim and claimed the
Government had ignored the impact of immigration. The Reform leader said: “Britain has undergone unprecedented mass immigration that has changed the character of many areas in our country. “Labour may try to ignore that, but Reform won’t.” I recall when Sajid David visited his old School in Rochdale Spoiler: |

Of course,
Jim stated in the original Sky News interview That Nigel Farage would be a better leader than Starmer. Sky's Ed Conway was doing an economic interview with Jim Ratcliffe there to talk about the chemical industry. I assume Jim wanted to turn the interview up a Gear or so.
