Default BB10 - Another Failure?

Do you think BB10 will be another failure?

Only calling it a failure because most people found BB8 & BB9 s***

If they start it right and get the right momentum, I think it could restore some of what BB used to have so many viewers for, so no.

I don't think its going to fail ... then again I never thought BB9 or Celeb BB would fail

BB10 is pretty critical though ... I think an official series average of about 3.5m or above can be seen as a success

I think it'll fail if all of us fans going into it have a negative and pessimistic attitude.

It's going to be right off the scale. I don't think there will ever be another series of BB on C4 after this forthcoming one. The show simply cannot and will not survive without the live feed - however unimportant some might think it is.

The buzz created by the constant updates from the house as they happened are what have driven the forums and media for the past nine years. CBB6 without the live feed was dead...and BB10 will be too, only more so as it lasts four times longer.

This forum is actually quite positive and looking forward to it, its that lot over on DS with their own self importance over the live feed who aren't looking forward to it

I do wonder why people who say they aren't looking forward to it bother to stick around

I am going to watch, Im excited but Im still VERY annoyed at the LF, it was entertaining, some people may agree, the whole show was to watch the HMs 24/7 so they ruined that part, but forget about that for the moment and i will just try and enjoy it.

Unfortunatly yes for 2 reasons....

1) Hardly ANYONE Knows about the launch date this year which is very very bad! Basically the only people who know about the launch on 4th of June is on TiBB!

2) Getting rid of live feed is the worst thing possible, sad thing is C4 wont even relize this is why BB10 wont have viewers they will think the show is dead when really people just want Live Feed back and then they can have the old BB ratings.
Which is why they wont bother with live, Big Brother deserves more than Channel 4 They should move to a new channel, a Channel that would put Live Feed On All Day Long!!!

Big Brother 9 WAS NOT a bad series, BB8 Was the worst.
BB9 Was very very good IMO

And they havent even been advertising BB10 apart from Eye Flashes like I Said Hardly anyone knows about the Launch night anymore which is extremley bad because Launch night is the most important for ratings because it ussually shows how well the show will do.

Well if people think BB8 and 9 Were crap... then maybe "3rd time lucky" for BB10

That's because it hasn't been confirmed yet. As soon as Channel 4 confirm the launch date they'll run promos for the launch.

C4 only release their schedules two weeks in advance.

To be fair, in ratings terms, BB is still a success for Channel 4. 3 million every night is still much more than they would otherwise get.

I see no reason why it will be a failure, every season is new.

I would be hugely surprised if they averaged that during BB10.

I wish I could share that optimism. But I'm always convinced the current series will be poor LOL

It could easily flop or it could easily be the best yet. It depends if the producers want to get thier fingers out and start thinking of new ways to make the show better.

Hmm ... I'm not so sure. I think BB9 was easily on par with some of the better series' like BB3 and BB7 ... but the public just aren't behind the show anymore.

I don't find any season as a fail. Seasons may not compare to others, but it's just a stage of the show growing up with time. People live in the past, even I do, but in the end, it's growing, and it' not going to ever satisfy everyone.

Agreed... BB's in recent years have just not had that spark, like BB2,3,5 did
I hope this one is a success

THe figures are gonna be ridiculously low. LOL! Of course they are. CBB6 was a preview of that. At least that was celebrities and just 3 weeks, so people could just watch it as some dumb phony show. BUt the real BB without LF, is gonna get horrible ratings this year for sure. But I dont think they care, because the show is gonna be cancelled within a year or 2.
