Yes but what I object too is you making it out to be a muslim thing. "An Islamic plague!" Cant you see how damaging that kind of language is, its important to distinguish between ordianary muslims and those that hold extremist views, or we're just stirring up more hatred

Sikhs and Hindus probably feel less maginalised in the world as a whole I would imagine. Maginalised groups have a tendency to develop more extreme elements. You have to look at the history between Islam and the west to understand how some people have adopted such extreme stances. Similar thing happened with Jewish people throughout history...A more imformative programme was Islam and the West and the thing on C4 the other night comparing Islamic Terror groups with Jewish groups in the 19th century. Not just picking on muslims but trying to understand how things got to be like this and how in/out group mentality makes things worse

If Muslims made more of an effort, and interacted with Society, then maybe society would understand. All society see's is the Ralleys and Riots.

They have not made an effort with that either. They have not adapted to our culture, they have imposed theirs...

What about it? Is it law? no...some of it does make sense, they do a lot of work to help keep families together etc, some of it is **** especially the extreme twisted laws in Saudi...Will we be living under Sharia law in the future? No so why ****in waste time getting on your high horse about it? Is there things we can learn from it? maybe

We dont need it here and its a minority of "extremists" that are calling for it. We are a secular society, and most Muslims are happy with law and religion being separate. Its not gonna happen, stop reading the Daily hate Mail and getting your knickers in a twist

I think you have to look at the historical reasons for why there are problems between Islam and the West to help us understand how best to tackle the problem and hating on them will get us nowhere. I think most muslim people are just trying to get by like you
