WTF? I agree with you for a change. It's like shopping. I don't stand around scratching my chin for half an hour looking at stripy cardigans. If I want it, I know straight away and I will buy said Stripy cardigan and wear the **** out of it.

That is why I said engaged lol but they can marry with consent at 16 in the UK and can just marry at 16 in Scotland. But being tied down so young is stupid, especially with today's youth, shagging about all over the place.

I don't care about people getting married too early, because the only thing they're messing with is themselves. Whereas teenage pregnancy is bringing another life into the mess.
That being said, I think very few ARE ready for marriage at a young age (as in, 18... not 16) - but too many people see marriage as a way to save a flagging relationship. I'm quite traditional with marriage, I think the vows SHOULD mean something, and it should be for life (though this is quite simplistic). |
