He's doing it at the moment - you don't need to be a student of human interaction to spot on live-feed that he's doing the set-up by being extra nice to them all.

He's also also talked to Alex about appearfing in Panto, so I've a feeling that's how he'll sell the cross-dressing lie:

Yes - as the ugly sisters, though I'm not sure he would ever have claimed to "love" the cross-dressing aspect of being in Panto were it not for the task!
