CHERYL Cole has pulled out of her highly-anticipated appearances on Jonathan Ross's chat show and Radio 1's Live Lounge after coming down with bronchitis.

The X Factor judge was due to appear on Wossy's Friday night show, which is filmed today, and had also signed up for a live lounge session on Fearne Cotton's Radio 1 slot tomorrow.

But both appearances have had to be cancelled on doctor's orders.

The 26-year-old has not appeared on any show in the UK since she announced her split from serial love rat Ashley last month.

Her only public appearance since news of his affairs broke in this country was her feisty performance of Fight For This Love at the Brit Awards on February 16 - just after The Sun revealed the extent of his infidelities.

But the gorgeous brunette has plugged her album and latest single Parachute in Europe and put on a brave face as she appeared in Denmark earlier this week.

Cheryl had pulled out of an interview with Wossy and was only due to perform her track at the end of the BBC1 show.

The Geordie would have come face-to-face with her long-standing rival Charlotte Church, who has exchanged numerous insults with her over the years, at the recording of the chat show king's programme today.

Woo Charlotte Chuch I think Charlotte would be a good replacement judge for Danni Minogue on the X Factor. I would say Lily Allen but I think if Charlotte was given the job she would be more commited to it. Shame her and Cheryl don't get on though. lol

WOW!!! It's like she is copying the lyrics from her song and living her life by them! She will get back with ashley, blatently! Although i'm also thinking she might re-release the album as cheryl tweedy to make lots of more sales,

Is it me or is Ronan the only one out of Boyzone that can sing? He is the best singer by far. Stephen was a good singer too. Got nothing against boyzone they seem genuine, [btw ronan tried to go solo but flopped recently then went back to boyzone] But yeah slow boyband ballads don't do it for me, the only boyband i ever liked were busted!! I had a thing for charleys thick eyebrows LOL! :P

and cheryl cole seems one big fraud, i just never bought into it, and the annoying thing is.. Even though i don't like fight for this love, its ALWAYS in my head! because its so damn overplayed and catchy!

Lol Busted.. I remember when I went to see them live.. and mcfly were supporting them and I preferred Mcfly to Busted. Oh no Charley was the worst one out of the 3 for me! I still like some Busted songs but probs more Mcfly songs!

Lol Cheryl.. fight for this love is okay.. also I thought "3 words" would chart at number 1 but it got to number 4. I am not a fan of Cheryl's, I would just say her music is okay.. lol
