Davina McCall, the queen of Big Brother, is set to present new Channel 4 game show The Million Pound Drop.
According to the broadcaster’s Sales website, McCall will front the show, which will involve contestants answering a series of ‘topical questions’ in order to keep a £1million prize given to them beforehand. Six live episodes will be broadcast over as many consecutive nights at the end of May, just before this summer’s final series of Big Brother is expected to begin. Davina McCall has signed up to host a new Channel 4 gameshow. The Drop will be broadcast live across six nights at the end of this month, The Sun says. Contestants, who will be chosen from social networking sites, will be given £1m but will then have to answer questions to hold onto the money. If they reply incorrectly, some of the cash will fall through a trapdoor. McCall will also host the final series of Big Brother, which is reportedly expected to begin in the second week of June. DS |

ffs We've heard so much about a May launch now that a June launch seems so long away ffs.
So BB11 is possibly 6 weeks away! How do some people think this show is a 'cover up' for BB? What do you mean by that?

Dear God, I bet that will be dreadful, along with all the other rubbish she's done outside BB.
 With the exception of DEAD SET, in which I thought she made a terrific and very scary zombie.
