No no. He's actually hated by some. Can't remember exactly why that is but I do remember Maradona giving him the finger and making the slicing of throat gesture at him during a Davis Cup match lol.

Yeah, even his own country can't really stand him! Poor lad.

Federer is the luckiest and cockiest player I've ever seen, which has become more apparent as he's defeated more and more. It's easy to look gentlemanly when you're winning but some of the comments he makes are not what you would expect from this "ambassador" to the sport. The true ambassador for that sport is Nadal.

I have a friend who works for a private jet company and she has flown with him a couple of times and he is her favourite passenger so far. She said he was just lovely!

I just have a personal distaste for some of the comments he makes after matches and when he decides to speak out of turn about other players. And don't get me started on the suit he wore to Wimbledon, or the jacket he had made for Wimbledon last year which he wore immediately after beating Roddick. Do you remember that?

Oh, and then the crying at the Australian Open when Nadal beat him really took the biscuit for me.

Yes, and it had the amount of titles Federer had one, including his defeat of Roddick that very day! Unbelievable stuff.

And no, Roddick wasn't ungracious; he was just knackered and probably was sick to death of hearing Federer's bull. Federer was beaming like a Chesire cat while he commiserated, and don't forget that Fed turned Nadal's Australian Open win like a wake. Sorry, have no time for the guy.
