And you're watching the wrong show because you appear to fail to understand the basic concept of keeping influential characters in order to ensure that there's something worth watching. The majority of these people then go on to complain later on in the series, when it's their fault that it's so dull. And megalolz @ 'If bb were only catering for people with your 'taste' in entertainment - they would only put those type of people in!'. You do realise that the producers try to ensure that every single housemate has something to offer [i.e. something worth watching]. You do also realise that when they realise that housemates like Hira, Suzie, Rachel etc etc have absolutely nothing to offer they're pissed off, because the majority of the time they fly under the radar and end up in the final, and in Rachel's case, win? It's all very well having 'nice' people, but the fact of the matter is, if we had a house full of Ife's, a house full of Hira's, a house full of Rachel's - the ratings would be lower than they have ever been. It's as simple as that.

The show couldn't run successfully, with big enough audiences without an adult audience as well - and many of the adults were sick of the freak show and switching off in their droves! It might suit the kids, but not a lot of the adults! Tbh - if this were not the last series, I probably wouldn't have bothered and I would bet that goes for many others too! The show lost its originality and purpose and it got taken over by drama queens and wannabees! And you still fail to understand that your idea of entertaining and influential characters are not the same as many others!

By your logic then - bb just needed to put in a houseful of Shabby's and Nicky's - because they would have been at each other's throats vying for attention - and the show would have been a hugh success! I don't think so - viewing figures would have plummeted even further - the only viewers left - would have been the teens !

I've never felt sad about a housemate leaving/being evicted before. Disappointed yes, but not sad. What a fantastic housemate she was - she'll be missed.
