Thumbs up Tea Is A Healthier Drink Than Water!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/5281046.stm

The article is from like August 24th 2006, OMG it was posted on my birthday and during Big Brother 7

No seriously though, I know it's rather old but has anyone else heard of this?

Why didn't anyone tell me though, this should be more well known!

****** Water!
We must get Tea to run from our taps instead, I feel rather epic now it means I can just drink as much tea as I want and basically be as healthy as a new baby's arse.

This is wonderful!

I just thought I'd spread the amazing news to you all incase anyone wasn't aware!

---------------

We must get started on an advert campaign for Tea, okay axe the stupid fat bloke and his monkey and get this on:

Woman is sitting at her office sobbing over a cup of tea.

Little boy walks in and looks up at her.

BOY: Mam, I noticed you're drinking tea...

WOMAN: I know, It's my favourite But I, I'ma just have to give it up it's not healthy.

BOY: No, No, STOP IT!

Boy and Woman both grab the tea and fight for it until the boy pulls it off her.

BOY: Christ, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS TO YOURSELF!

WOMAN: Yeah I Do!

BOY: I think I may be able to help you out.

WOMAN: How?

BOY: What if I told you, there was a way to become healthier, whilst drinking tea.

WOMEN: What? Well If I could go to such a place, I would-

BOY: You Can, You Can...

And then The X Factor Voice-Over man shouts:

'TEA!! It's now 10 Times Healthier Than Water! Availiable Now At Tescos and That'

Isn't it amazing Harry!

Just one question,
Does anyone know if putting 2 big spoon fills of sugar in tea, would make it like not healthy?

I do like tea. Suger is good for giving you energy but is bad for your teeth, so don't have too much sugar.

They mean tea without Milk or Sugar, it contains antioxidants which are good for you but if you add milk or sugar then it's not healthy at all.

The refined sugar in tea is very unhealthy. In fact if you are eating the right sugars in complex carbohydrates you don't really need to take that sugar at all. It's a luxury. And any energy kick you get from it will be followed by an even greater slump in energy once it wears off.

I don't know how people destroy the taste of tea with sugar.

I agree, tea with sugar in it tastes revolting!
