Just watched this weeks episode last night, I can't believe Elijah let Klaus go after hunting him down for however many hundreds of years - grrr. Stefen is irritating me, he never succeeds in being useful. Damon can't die, I'm sure he'll become another hybrid to kill Klaus. Is next week the last in this series?

It was a good episode although I'm not sure killing both John and Jenna off was a wise decision. I'm guessing Alaric will become the parental figure. Damon's got no chance of dying, the hybrid theory is a good one although I reckon Bonnie will just stumble across a spell of some sort.

Calm and collected: Meredith seems to be one of the most sensible and grounded characters in the books and amongst Elena's friends and often comes across as "the voice of reason". She has a very wry personality, often making keen observations or (somewhat humorous) comments in a dry tone. She is normally very cool and unflappable, calm under pressure, and competent. She does things with minimal fuss, displaying grace, skill, and dignity. She is extremely cynical when it comes to vampires and the reason is suspected amongst fans to be because of the attack by Klaus on both her and her grandfather. She is also the only human female in the novel that seems to be completely unphased by Damon Salvatore and the only person that Damon admits to being afraid of.

I was reading some rumours about cures for Damon

1. Damon will drink the Elixir and become human

2. Klaus' blood is the cure.

I honestly don't think we will find out until the next series

Quite disappointed with that finale actually. No real cliffhanger or anything :/

Nearly cried when jeremy died though, and when elana and damon were talking

Not shocked in the slightest that klaus killed elijah either.

No Cliffhanger but i suppose a lot of things happened that will be good for Season 3

- Stefan now is back on human blood and is working with Klaus, he's probably going to replace Damon has the Darker brother for most of the next season

- Jeremy can now see dead people, I called that straight away after the witches said there will be consequences.. and i didn't know that was Vicky following Jeremy at first.. she looked a bit different, Darker hair i think. will be interesting to see where it leads in Season 3 anyway.

- Katherine will probably let slip about Damon and Elena in Season 3 as well

Pretty good ending to a very good Season, All the best characters still alive as well.
