what do you mean by focusing on one particular storyline? The only actual "being gay and coming out" storyline was Sian and Sophies and Todds but that was ages ago

Ah, fair enough. I thought they were going to start another "coming out" storyline. Having gays is a good representation of real life, but the "coming out" storylines was what I was annoyed about. It's just like having too many affairs or murders.

Neither do I, there is room for all in soapland as in real life too. People are people, we should just accept them as they are and look beyond their sexuality,why not say there are possibly too many heterosexual people in soaps etc, and some pretty bad examples of them too as there are with gay characters.

Firstly it's Corrie, how many trains/trams fly off a viaduct? How many streets have a hammer murder spree? How many streets have a death/birth/affair/fire/etc every few weeks?

Clearly that is realistic isn't it?


Secondly how do you know how many homosexuals and lesbians live on one street? Do you go around and count them? In my house alone there are 3 of us, so it is more than likely realistic that 6 can live on one street.
