Well Inter are a bit strapped for cash now due to the FFP rules. They've signed an Italian player Andrea Poli (for once) from Serie B club Sampdoria on loan with a view to permanent transfer, although they're focused on youth now.

Disappointing for Villa fans that Makoun has been allowed to go on loan, he could have had a good season for the club and McLeish should ask Lerner to do some more quick business if possible.

We spent all that money on the team and failed to get champions league so we're just cutting back now and settling for top half

It's a shame the Villa board are thinking like that because Everton are regulalrly in the top 8 most seasons and they are in a worse position financially and in terms of on the pitch than Villa.

Villa needs more investing as they deserve to be up there fighting towards the European places again.
