We spent all that money on the team and failed to get champions league so we're just cutting back now and settling for top half

It's a shame the Villa board are thinking like that because Everton are regulalrly in the top 8 most seasons and they are in a worse position financially and in terms of on the pitch than Villa.

Villa needs more investing as they deserve to be up there fighting towards the European places again.
