Why is darker evenings good? There's nothing more depressing then walking out the door of work at 5:30 and it's pitch dark

I love the early dark evenings,prefer night to day,love wind,rain,thunder and lightning,am I strange!!!and I'm not a goth but I do love vampire movies etc.

Can't wait to leave for work at 7am in the dark and come home at 5pm... in the dark

i don't mind it in the run up to Christmas but from January to March I think I have SAD
