Default Is having 3 dogs too much?

Okay so I'm in a predicament.

I have two dogs at the moment and I LOVE them, big dog lover.

Anyway I was just looking on the website of my local dog/animal shelter and they have a near-1 year old female English Bulldog for adoption and I've fell in love!

I've ALWAYS wanted an English Bulldog but they're eye-wateringly expensive (£1000+) to buy and this one would be £120.

What do you think? Is 3 too many? Will my current bitch get one with the one from the rescue also do you think?

HMMM...

We went from 2 to 3 dogs at one stage, the main problem we had was that we then had 2 males, and there was a power struggle going on. I think if it's a female you should be fine though apart from the obvious more work in looking after them

If you love Dogs, have room for another, then definately.

The 2 you have may not like the new arrival at first but you can slowly get them used to it.

Good luck and it does sound too good a bargain to miss if you are able to take it and care for it.

Yeah if it was a male dog I wouldn't even consider it because my current male wouldn't take to it at all.

I'm lucky that the bitch I have currently (which is an 'Old Tyme Bulldog') is very dog-friendly and loves the company of other animals (dogs, cats, BEARDED DRAGONS :P).

I'll talk with the family, sit them down with a nice cuppa and use my persuasive ways :P
