Like him or not it seemed a sure thing that Anton was leaving the house this evening, the bookies were certain and the fans were baying for his blood outside the house, but low and behold the boy has defied his detractors and pulled off a blinder!! , and what irks the masses even more is when he heard the boos he was giving it the biggun with a crown on his head, as if to say "i'm the daddy tonight"!! LOL... i think tonight will go down in big brother folklore and i'm glad the lad stayed.

The bookies odds are based on bets placed.... many where betting for the one who was most disliked... however this year it is vote to save, the smart money will have looked at who was likely to have least people voting for them... in this case, the most boring.... and in a five horse race there isn't much room for tactical voting. Most folks vote to save their fave... My votes for instance went to save Faye, do otherwise because you think your fave is safe and boom, you loose your favorate because too many thought the same thing.

I think this was a case of people being complacent and sitting back and not voting for Aden (to get Anton out), as they thought everyone else would be doing it.

I guess this is a result of vote to save. I have no idea how many people vote, but I am guessing both Anton and Aden just got a handful and it could have gone either way.

But surely someone who's apparently as "hated" as Anton shouldn't have ANY fans? and it's easy to say in hindsight that "he was gonna stay", the fact is he was odds on favorite to go and when the crowd scream to get a housemate out that's usually the way it goes, but like i said Anton's pulled off a miracle and his detracters have got egg on their faces tonight!! .

What 'hindsight'? I was the one popping into the 'lets celebrate anton leaving on friday' thread saying 'don't count your chickens' and pointing out that it was aden that was most likely to go.

It was pretty obvious to anyone who looked at the situation without letting their own preffrences cloud their judgement.

It was the most likely outcome, nothing for anton fans to crow about, not an escape, he was simply less boring than aden.

Most hated is the factor in 'vote to evict' not in vote to save. Vote to save = do you inspire enough people to bother to vote for you. Even the most hated will have some people enjoying the hastle they cause... most boring doesn't. Nobody is claiming anton was most boring.....With vote to save, it was always likely to be aden out the door.
