I have always felt it was the same god in all the religions, just the idiots in charge of the methodology of worship were different. I personally dont think religion in itself is obscene, and there arent many religions that actually demand human sacrifice or require anyones death.

Think it is more to do with the way Man uses religion to his own ends, to control others or feed his demand for power over others.

Most religions actually require their adherents to respect others, if not even love them and care for them.

As for the increase in the more humerous type of cards and the decrease in the religious style of cards, it is due in some part to the demand of the public, but also in part due to producers deciding what they think we should be using, this is seen in other areas of modern life particualrly the clothing industry.

I dont think I have ever seen what I would class as an 'obscene' card.

I must be shopping in the wrong places
