A bird in Japan was taken home after repeating its home address.

The budgie was trained by its owner in case of such an event.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the bird escaped from the house and landed on an hotel guest.

The hotel notified the police, who caged the budgerigar and brought it to the police station.

After two days, the bird began to speak and started squawking the owner's exact address.

The official involved said: "We had not expected his owner to be identified in this manner."
