Tonights episode done a very good job setting up the things to come this season. Next week will kick things off and Season 2 will start to challenge Season 1.

Renly's death was as annoying in the show as it was in the book, I hated how they had him killed by a shadow. Arya's stuff is all amazing though, and Jaqen is a great character.

Episode 5 has been the best episode this season imo, it challenged season 1's quality for me which this season hadn't done so far until the last episode.

Margaery Tyrell will be a good character I think and it was good to see more of Daenerys again.

It was a good episode, I love the man who's killing people for Aria. I wasn't too keen on a certain death though.

I thought it was okay, the Theon storyline is still pretty poor though as it just doesn't make much sense. 'Hey I'm Theon, I'm gonna betray the people who raised me for a pair of bastards that threw me away only to treat me like crap when I returned', it's senseless and rushed.

I'm starting to quite like Tywin, you get the feeling that he's just a determined person caught in a bad situation and he's just trying to make the best of it. The Harrenhall storyline is a lot more compelling then I thought it'd be.

I don't think it was the best episode so far but it wasn't bad, any episode in which Joffrey gets slapped can never be bad.

Best episode since Episode 9 of Season 1 easily. I have no idea what that ending is about though because there is nothing at all like that in the book.

The Theon stuff you're supposed to be confused about, because he is confused himself. You're supposed to view him as a stupid confused young lad, who is being led by the wrong people (notice that everything he has done so far hasn't been his own idea. First changing sides, then taking Winterfell, then killing Roderick.)

Yeah best episode of the season for me, the bit at King's Landing especially was amazing, Joffrey is quite funny how he orders his guards to kill dozens of people just because one of them threw a cowpat at him

Yeah that had me in stitches with Joffrey, I can't believe the actor is from Dublin in real life.

And that guy from Quarth and Daenarys have an interesting dislike for each other lol.

Just watching last weeks episode again before watching the new one, Alfie Allen (Theon) and the kid playing Bran were boss in that opening scene were Roderick is getting killed.

I think this was the best episode of the season so far. The one on one scenes were fantastic, I could literally watch an episode starring just Arya and Tywin or Cersei and Tyrion. Their scenes are always excellent. The Qarth storyline is finally getting pacier although King's betrayal was a little predictable. The Jon storyline looks like it'll finally start to get interesting soon as well.

The ending was brutal although I can already tell what's going to happen.

Theon let Bran and Rickon go and torched the two orphans instead to make it look like he killed the Starks. It'll be interesting where they go next with the two younger Starks.

It was probably the most chilling ending they've done though.

Good episode, can't really be bothered with the Daenerys stuff though.

Nice to see Jaime getting some airtime aswell

Yeah I forgot all about him, his exchange with the other Lannister was compelling. He's an interesting character.

Some of his lines are brilliant.

Not liking what they are doing with the Jon story, they dragged it out a bit in this episode and him coming face to face with the Wildlings shoulda been more intense. Hopefully the scene they seem to have cut is somehow fitted into one of the future episodes
