Seeing as a lot of you are still at school / college / uni or further studies: and those of you are long past it: what was the ONE subject you found difficult to understand - from about Secondary School I guess.
For me: Physics was one that although I 'understood' at it's basics: there was a lot of it (being a teen) that I didn't get. Yet ....as I was older: it suddenly made sense. What did you find a hard subject and why? |

Physics. I've grown to finally understand how Biology and Chemistry work but Physics just does not work with my brain.

Hmm late into primary school all the way up to my GCSEs maths was something I always found hard to grasp. I hated it. I found it really really dull and and repetitive too so I never had the motivation to apply myself to it either. Well that was until I got a D in it in my GCSEs. I re-took it though this year and I got a C thank God.
![]() But now I don't do it anymore because I'm doing A Levels etc and now geography is the really difficult one. It's really strange because I was an ace at it before but now it's suddenly become extremely difficult. ![]()

Languages get increasingly hard year on year and its quite difficult to interpret questions even though you would probably be able to answer it piece of piss if it was asked in English.
My art skills were pretty limited also but I put a lot of graft into it and was so happy with my B at GCSE ![]() Subjects with high workload too... Biology at A Level!!! Geography, possibly History as well... require a lot of cramming it all in. And agree with Scott that any subject you lose interest in becomes difficult. But on the contray any subject you enjoy makes it fun studying however hard.

The worst was probably Science because our teacher was useless and couldn't control the class so we literally learnt nothing. My science book was practically hanging apart and missing half the pages by the end of the year thanks to everyone throwing them across the class at eachother

Religious Studies because it's a load of **** and it's hard to study something that you find to be a load of made up nonsense. Got a C in it which was my lowest GCSE grade.

Either Maths which I always found difficult even though I had a brilliant teacher or Chemistry where I had an atrocious teacher who was more interested in being friends with the class than teaching us anything, didn't help also that she was often away so we had lots of supplies. She was such a push around too, never had no control of the class, I really don't know why she became a teacher.
