Default Title Sequence

Hi guys, I have no way of watching tonights show or catching up for a few days, so just wondering if anyone can shine some light on the new titles? Are they pretty much the same as the last few? Better still if anyone has a video of them could you please post them? Thanks in advance!

I can't begin to describe the hatred I have for them.

The clouds aren't there anymore. That's good - and they focused on the multi coloured aspect of the eye, which is great.

But there is no sense of motion, or excitement to them - at all. It's literally, like a photo of multi coloured bricks that swap and change showing bits of the Housemate Faces, and abit of the Garden - before the eye appears the end.

Ironically, the eye appearing against the clouds at the end of the titles.. IS THE BEST PART. Which is funny, sense I've spent the past week complaining about the cloud graphics.

But yes, all in all - they're the worst opening sequence we've ever had on the show. Ever. They don't even go with the ******ing theme tune anymore either, they'd be aswell playing a Lady Gaga Instrumental over them or something for all I care now, instead of putting such a great piece of music like Element Four against them.

Bring on the 'Patrick why do you complain so much!' haters. I don't care. Just look at them and try and be positive - they changed, yes that's good. But they're boring and vile.

I like the switching coloured blocks, I was pleasantly surprised. But, yes, they're not really BB titles anymore. They're not quite speedy enough or have that Big Brother-y darkness/ambiguity to them.

They're a massive improvement on last year but once again, I can't abide the housemates faces appearing in them, the clouds and ultimately, the lack of creativity.

And the thing is I've sorta sussed (it was probably obvious already) the obsession with the housemates faces in them - that's what they do on the TOWIE titles isn't it? I don't watch it but have seen them before. And of course the IAC ones but that's less of a comparison compared to the glaringly obvious TOWIE rip-off this show is becoming.

I think they want to make it so it's like the titles are like 'oh look here's the cast of the show' - essentially it really is one big soap opera.

There's just no creativity anymore. Whoever is giving this brief to Hello Charlie needs to be fired, they're more than capable of creating incredible graphics themselves, I actually expect they're quite embarrassed to have to produce such a crock of sh*te.

This.

The ****e masquerading on channel 5 as "Big Brother" couldn't be further from BB. It's TOWIE crap.

Now that you say it,
It's ironic.. as soon as Big Brother changed it's title style - The Only Way Is Essex changed there's.

That's right. TOWIE's titles don't even feature the faces in them anymore, they're far more appealing than the bollocks Big Brother has now.

This year's graphics package is nothing short of abysmal - by far the worst the show's ever had. I don't mind clouds, I don't mind housemates' faces, but the execution is terrible.

I can't believe the company that created this year's titles is the same company that created the BB6 and 7 titles. Even last year's titles were far more polished.

They're not overly bad or anything. Just plain and cliched, carrying strongly that 'been there, done that' feeling. (Deja vu.)

I don't think it's Hello Charlie's fault - it's whatever tit is giving them the instructions.

And it's funny yes, the BB12 titles were even better than this. It's funny, just yesterday I was complaining about the CBB8-CBB9 titles, now I want them back.

It's like watching a nightmare. It really is funny, like the BB1 titles are better.. I can say that with no hesitation - the Big Brother 2000 titles, were far far far better than that abomination.

They were really cool and worked well the eye but they're not worth comparing to the old BB titles where everything felt so fast and different. It's good for what it is.

Yes, there's no BB element to it anymore, the cameras, isolation the 1984 style ambiguity etc. It's your standard "cast of a TV show" intro. It's not unique, but the show itself isn't anymore.

I've decided - the way they're actually 'carried out' isn't bad.

It's just that - if they're going to do this whole housemate face thing, then actually show us something to look at. That's why they're so boring. If they want to do it like that, then show us their faces. I know it's the last thing we all want, and we'd rather have the graphics back like we use to have.

But obviously, as Jack said - they want the show to be like a TOWIE Intro or a Soap Opera. So yes, show us their ******ing faces then. Give us something to stare at rather than their mouths and eyes, whilst a bunch of colourful blocks light up.

I don't mind the blocks, I think they're quite cool. My issue with them is that it's like a 'wall' of blocks that doesn't move, just changes colour - so essentially it's like it's one picture through the whole sequence. If that blocks moved into different positions and sh*t it might look a bit better.

That was my issue with the BB5 titles actually, not a lot changed. It was just one moving image with some faint things thrown over the top - wasn't it just that dog barking? Too simple.
