I actually think last Season on the forums, was a bit boring...coz most pple seemed to like Aaron. So there wasn't much to dispute about. I'm getting better vibes this year, there's definitely a better array of HMs, imho, and hopefully it will spark some more lively debate. :-)

The truth is the peak on here was BB10 when at times it was too busy. C5 isn't exactly a big tv station plus BB is more of a cult show now sadly. I doubt it ever be at its peak again.

Thats because theres nothing to talk about.

You would think that Channel 5 would upload more videos due to there being no lf.

All they upload is like 1 3 minute video every 4 hours or so.

Exactly right.
During the other 22 hours a day when there isnt a show on big brother might as well not be happening.
The live feed provided 90 percent of the buzz and events surrounding the show it was what fed the forums and the media thats why it amazes me when you get people who say i dont care about live feed because i didnt watch it.
Such a daft thing to say because even if you didnt watch it you benefited from it through the info it provided to the forums.

Big brother used to be a summer long event now its just a show thats on at night its nothing but an empty shell these days.
The forum is proof of that.

Ofcourse its a valid excuse because for 22 hours of the day theres nothing new to talk about as we have no idea whats going on in the house.

With LF there was always something to talk about even if it wasnt important it was still getting spoke about/threads created about it on here and the lf thread was getting updated constantly too.

Maybe too, forums in general are on a bit of a downward slide. Seems, nowadays alot of folks get their "social online fix" from sending out a few random facebook comments or tweets.

I remember BB10 especially being crazy, new threads had appeared everytime I refreshed the browser, then the X-factor series after that was probably lively-er than this and that was only on once a week

I've only been on here through BB11, BB12, and now but it doesn't seem dead to me at all.

Yeah, as others have said, it's due to no live feed. Two full hours of BB a day isn't enough to keep things active for the other 22 hours, it's just not going to happen. Live feed kept things moving 24/7 and the discussion rife, and that's just one of the many reasons why not providing live feed isn't justifiable.

BB10 was crazy on here and sometimes you got Troll threads but you did get great posters who made the forum brillant. But the downslide began in BB11 and whole JJ/josie thing plus a lot of nasty stuff from their fans if you took the piss out of them. After that the forum went on a downward slope.
