Not really paid much attention to this case but this is very sad news. My heart sunk a little bit.

I think when the worst nightmare is confirmed it sort of hits home. Awful really.

I'd like to hope if he is guilty he pleads it and gives some explanation, I'd quite like to know the motivation behind it.

My heart obviously goes out to April's family but I also feel so sad for the innocent children of Bridger who will have to live their lives with the knowledge of what he did to their friend and playmate.

so from this we can assume he did not confess, something about all this does not feel right I do hope they have the right person and that April will be found.

I still think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves deciding he is guilty just because hes been charged.

I really feel for the parents. I'm still hoping she turns up alive and well somewhere...as even if it was Bridger, the fact that april said she knew 'them' stands out for me, so in my head she could still be with the second person.

That said, surely theres some evidence to point to her being dead...as its a bit odd that they presume shes dead after less than a week...when they presume Maddy mcCann is alive after 5 years or so.

It seems strange to me that they can have enough evidence to say he's murdered her when they haven't found a body and it sounds like he hasn't confessed?

And I really hate how every time there's a little sniff of murder Twitter and the rest of the internet goes wild with calls to bring back the death penalty and all sorts of graphic descriptions of how they'd kill them. Very disturbing.

Oh god...saying that my twitter has gone mental with capital punishment ****e. Why don't people understand most murderers/other serious crimes would happily take that instead of being kicked crapless everyday?
