Default Was Sam a great potential HM trapped in the wrong cast?
after BOTS i really think so.. it came down to the cast being majority oldies that he didnt had anything in common with, if tou think about it he could of been great in other cbbs series llike last years.. with rhyan.. Danica..etc.

Yeah, definitely. Also this is the first series of CBB where they haven't been plied with booze every night and had music to dance to, so he never had a chance to shine.

Sounds like he just decided to see it out, pick up his cheque and carry on life as normal. I do think he had potential to be a good housemate in the right situation but it was also good to see John Mc rip it into him for being a complete waste of a housemate

He wouldn't have been 'great', he would have been 'slightly better' and probably just coasted to the end.

Wish they'd switched Ashley and him around in the male-eye candy slots as I think they would have both been slightly more relevant in different series. Sam would have had a fun young crew and could have gotten involved in the Danica situation, while Ashley would have probably gotten a lot more sympathy from the hags due his Olympic status

I disagee, you have to form some form of relationship to be entertaining, whether that is a bromance, or a relationship where you can't abide another HM or whatever, you have to interact and form some sort of bond, the current creip of HM are keeping themselves firmly to themselves and not interacting at all.

It's easy to come out of there and blame everyone else. From what I know,, he wasn't in the diary room every day moaning about the freaks.

Nice, convenient excuse. This bunch are bland as ****, not freaks.

he said if there was 7 people he's age in there it would be different.(he forgets he is 27 lol) might of been slightly better but his personality is to be in the background.
7 young people would be more fun but he would still be over shadowed by anyone with a personality.

What a knob... I just cringed watching him on BBOTS. Trying to be so cool about stuff going on under the duvet with Lacey.... telling Brian the public probably saw he was bored and deliberatly did not vote to save!!... I know he then said he was joking about Lacey and apologised to his mum...perhaps he should have apologised to Laceys mum too.
