Grinning broadly in all his wedding finery, Freddie Starr hardly looks like a man fighting allegations of sex abuse.

But just two months after being arrested on suspicion of molesting a schoolgirl the comedian has got married for the fifth time to his fourth wife, it has emerged.

A photo of the 70-year-old posing at the wedding on Saturday with his much younger wife Sophie Lea, 31, was posted on Twitter today by her cousin.

The pair met three years ago when she worked on his tour as a singer and they started dating. She is pregnant with his fifth child.

Miss Lea has a 10-year-old son with her previous husband, who she left for Starr.

Starr has four children from five previous marriages. He has not spoken to his second wife Sandy, nor their three children, for several years.

He married his first wife Betty when he was just 17. They had a son and divorced after 12 years.

He married his second wife, Sandy, at the height of his fame and they had three children together.

His third wife was Donna, who was 27 years younger than him. They had a daughter, Ebony, and married twice but each time it ended in divorce.

Life's complicated for Freddie .....
