River God by Wilbur Smith.



One of my fave books ever it tells the story of the egyptian kingdom from the persective of a slave and is just stunning it is preceded and followed up by other books on the subject one of which is just as amazing called the seventh scroll i would recommend anything by Wilbur Smith but especially river god.

Took my ages to read it, I read about 80 pages and then I forgot about it, then I picked it up again on Sunday and read the whole thing in one go It was pretty good
