I was more surprised by the behind the scenes of the "king of the world" scene.

decaprio is clearly a far better trained actor than winslet, he seems to use both sense memory more but also far more imagination...winslet is a pretty one dimensional performer, but her sexiness always saves her

Girl, Interrupted (but it's one of my all-time favorite movies). The scene where Brittany Murphy's character kills herself really gets me.

Bitch please
It is a wonderful film and everyone should see it regardless Oh, another one though is definitely 'The Mist'. Possibly the most depressing ending i've ever seen.

I agree with Dezzy about Grave of the Fireflies, it's heartbreaking.
And I found Melancholia riveting, I loved the film ![]() |

omg, I'd I'd forgotten about that! That is by far the most depressing film ever. I couldn't actually watch it now that I have kids of my own

Ah yeah, that's what i'd call depressing, depressing is different to just a sad film I think and that film makes you feel properly depressed, eventhough it was good

..yeah, sad can be good as well..I thought Up was sad but it was uplifting as well...and Seven Pounds..that was sad..but there was nothing uplifting about Revolutionary Road..it was just a depressing story and left you feeling nothing....and I thought the same of My Sister's Keeper as well..just pointless...

I agree about Revoluntary Road, the only one I have seen that reminded me of it was The Master, the plots could hardly be more different, but both movies left me feeling empty inside and dwelling on the pointlessness of life.

..another one was Crash..it wasn't as bad as Revolutionary Road and had some powerful messages but was still quite a depressing movie...
