Never really use a double decker, and when I do, it's only a short journey so I'd stay on the bottom

Not been on a double decker for years, but used to use up or down depending on where there were seats! oh and I recall conducting a sing song on the top deck on a Saturday night on a bus to the Archway after a few bevvies.

Can't handle the stairs when the bus is moving so I just stay downstairs.

Nearly all just single deck buses that I get on,the rare times I use them.
If there was a double decker,I would go upstairs as I like to see a lot more of where I am going.

I feel safer on the same floor as the driver, but if the bus is packed, I don't mind sitting upstairs.

I be on a Double Decker bus every single day to be honest, and it varies - I usually sit upstairs. I love upstairs.

However, if the bus is packed with annoying, sweaty, horrible little cretins playing music and throwing things at eachother - then I sit downstairs.

Bottom every time unless I'm with friends, in which case I'm forced to go up.

I don't get the appeal of the top deck, it's effort to use the stairs and it's usually got the worst, most loudest and annoying people up there.

I haven't been on a bus for years but I always used to sit upstairs towards the back because I smoked in those days and that was the only place you could smoke.... There were always freaks upstairs too so made for an interesting journey....

Mostly closed.. apart from the sightseeing tour buses in bigger cities
