Okay I can't seem to get the pound sign to work after four days. At first I couldn't find it, but then saw it's above the number 3. But everytime I try use it I get # not the pound sign. WHY?

Go into control panel, then language settings..and just check its on UK?

I dont know how to help if your settings are UK. This happens to me sometimes and its because for some reason my keyboard decides its a US one

Sounds like your keyboard is set to US and not UK, I know everyone else has said this but my keyboard does that too every now and then. " and @ become switched, that's when I notice, I don't normally use the £ sign on my keyboard so I've never noticed if it's switched when my keyboard has turned into the US one but that's what it sounds like.
