Default I hope they have changed the exterior

I hope to God that with all of these changes to the house, they have at least put some effort into changing the exterior of the house. They have so much oppurtunity to get it right this year, and house-wise, this would be the icing on the cake.

It'd be amazing to see the outside of the house - such as the stage and stuff - to represent the inside of the house slightly. Not giving too mch away to the housemates, but to have it redesigned really would be the 'cherry on the cake'.

They've pulled it out of the bag this year with the house. Some people may not like it, but, I've been looking at reactions on Twitter today and the house design alone has made people tweet that they're interested in seeing the launch etc... so hopefully, if they can pull it off, who knows?

Great House, Great Housemates, Great Exterior - that'd be amazing. They're likely to cock up somewhere though haha.

They should just scrap the eye part of the set and have it as one big stage, like C4 finales used to have. That'd be much better.

No it really wouldnt

The eye door is beautiful

It works really well as an introduction to housemates/hosts etc and it doesnt need changing

Stopping willing change for change sake.

If its not broke dont fix it. The current set up pisses all over anything channel 4 ever had

How cool would it look if the front of the eye stage had been redesigned to look like a real-sized version of the new eye with the doors etc...

And instead of having the TV bank in the middle of the eye, have two brightly coloured doors that open to the sides, much like the front doors of the main house do!

For the record I don't dislike the eye set, I liked it at first but now it's time for a refresh. Much like every few years X Factor's set is renewed, Big Brother's needs to be too. If the house layout has changed it'd look a bit lacklustre for the outside to remain the same.

I really don't see what problem you have with people wanting to see the outside changed, I enjoyed seeing the changes each year on C4, and I want the same to continue on C5. You might like the eye set and not want it to change, fine, but don't force your opinion on others and look down on them for not agreeing with you.

1/ Theyve not got the space or the recources to change the outside every year. The outside set is fine

2/ X factor has had 4 sets in 9 year history. Its been the same since 2010

LOL that's just a poor excuse

And erm...I said it changed set every few years, few generally means 3 or 4, it's been on for 9 years, so that's 3 or 4 different sets...so I was right. And I know it's been the same since 2010...so I don't see your point?

We've had the same set for six series, I'm not alone in wanting it changed. Please stop trying to cause an argument over a difference of opinion

Agree with Jack. The set needs to be changed. I'd love a new staircase, maybe even put an eye of some sort in front of the entrance instead of the at the walkway so we can get the limos/ housemates walking through crowd back

It would fit the theme of the house if it was large and spacious

I always thought the eye would look better on the actual house than entrance to the studio.

But yeah, I'd like to see some changes to the exterior.

Not got the space?

The current set up takes to much space, have you ever actually been to the set?

It would kind of be a mismatch if outside was still all shiny and glitzy and then the inside is all eco.

It needs some sort of continuation.

I would like to see a wooden style staircase and atleast a different walkway to the house.

Nothing major just something different.

The eye needs to go, it's so cheesy. Bring back the car and suitcase introductions.

Won't it be a bit on a contradiction if the house is trying to be green and eco-friendly, but then they use a huge rotating eye that uses a ****load of electricity?

Wouldn't a wooden staircase up to the door look good, would match the inside of the house. Think that's obviously very unlikely though.

If not anything else, I just hope they tone it down a bit. Not the big lights, and especially not the camp dancers.

Now that I've seen the house I think it's safe to say that the outdoor set will be changed... The "old" setup worked well because the interior of the house had a similar feel to it but it would seem odd flowing in to a house that has a very warm, old world, modern charm to it...

That being said you can't deny that the current house is a C5 creation so there is no doubt that elements of the past outdoor stage will remain... The stands will still be there, there will be LED screens displaying graphics on the exterior of the house, and the makeshift studio on the stage will still be there...

I think the biggest changes will be in the stairs leading up and in to the house... They might return to a more industrial feel similar to the Channel 4 era or will perhaps mimic the interior staircase...

I also have a feeling they've ditched the eye enclosure of the stage/studio... If it has indeed been replaced and I have no doubts right now that it has been it will probably be styled as either a variation of the "tree house" or a mix of doors/drawers/and screens as in the current eye but not necessarily in an eye shape... Perhaps something similar to some of Davina's old studios where the large screen would split to create an entrance and exit to the studio...

I'm not sure if the stage can be moved so in terms of arrangement I'm not sure much has changed... However like the house I'm sure it will have a different feel to it... Much like the house it will still maintain the very flash/stylish image Channel 5 have created but in an understated fashion...

The house is inside a studio. Only the house needs to change.

Apart from the stairs, I can't think of much they can do to match the inside

The enclosure of the stage and the use of the LED screens on the exterior of the house... BB11's staging complimented the interior and the overall theme of the house nicely...

As for the stage I believe it should be an enclosed studio space cut off from the delusional crowd outside... I think it makes for a much better interview when the crowd isn't yelling and screaming over top of the HM's and the presenter... It's an interview not and interrogation and it certainly isn't the presenter or the crowds job to burn them at the stake...

It also gives Emma somewhere "quiet" to go when she's talking to the house... I hate that the house can hear chanting and booing...
