I was afraid that the generally good people like Andy and McRae were going to end up joining them for safety and it looks like it's happening sadly!

I think this season could well be doomed from the start. Because there's so many of the disgusting housemates i fear they're going to have the power from the start and it'll just carry on with the few good people being targeted and evicted. Then we'll be left with an unwatchable house full of racist, bigoted assholes!

totally agree! I am glad they let em get on with. People will know exactly who they are. Racism, and homophobia are part of reality. so show it when it occurs. Its a minority, so most people will be appalled. I never like it, when they punish, or kick people out, for making racial remarks and such. As long as it doesnt involve violence, Let people see. Censoring it, is just like sweeping it under the rug. Pretending like it doesnt exist.
They may not show it on the episode recaps, but at least they did, on the feeds.

BBUSA isn't a social experiment tho, it's much more of a gameshow. Maybe if your argument applied to BBUK I'd sort of agree, but that's mainly because the consequences in the real world and by the viewing public in terms of voting is far higher, whereas with BBUSA they will never learn their lesson

As bad as it is and as much as I think CBS should air the comments to let people see the real them, it would cause alot of controversy and could potentially get the show cancelled. All those housemates involved would without a doubt lose their jobs and receives hundreds of death threats, BB superfans can be ****ing crazy and they will literally go after you and your family and everything important to you. I remember the year Shelly was in, there were people who called child protective services trying to get her kid taken away from her just because she "backstabbed" another housemate in the game. I mean, in this situation where there's racism and homophobia involved, they deserve to lose their jobs - but I think it has potential to go way overboard and literally ruin these people's lives. That's why it's the producers fault for letting this happen and not warning them for their behavior.

To be honest, I wish that they have something up thier sleeve. Because now Huffington Post is talking about it. It could be a matter of time before the Networks (NBC,ABC, probably not CBS) report about it on the national nightly news if this continues.

We might hear something at the end of the Tuesday show where the announcer says. "Tune in tomorrow to find out who's evicted, and see why multiple hgs are punished for harmful comments Live" but I don't expect it.

If let's say NBC, ABC, CNN, Etc. start talking about it tomorrow, then more than likely we'll see it addressed on the show. Especially with the recent theme of racism here in the US in the news with Paula Deen and the George Zimmerman Trial.

I do hope they show the comments anyway, and I also hope that either Julie or The Head Executive Producer Allison Grodener addresses it on the live show. If they do have a disclamer for Wed's show. They'll probably show it
