What has been posted in the media has not ALL been lies - the girls have said these things. And if that is how you want to look at it, then you yourself must admit that when the newspapers say "Jo/Jade has breakdown" "Jade goes to rehab" ...these too must be lies??

Ofcourse everyone has made mistakes, but at the end of the day people saw something on TV which they did not agree with and decided to do something about it rather then sit back and let it happen, and you cannot persecute these people for doing so.

Go one then, emigrate... but you'll find the same thing anywhere you go mate. This world has been far from perfect probably since the beginning of time.

I don't know anybody who has lived their life impeccably. Do you? I certainly haven't. I hold my hands up and admit I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and have been horrid to people who were good to me and done things I shouldn't have. But I've learnt and have tried to better myself.

Jade, Jo and Danielle are not bad people, theyt just have a lot of growing up to do. People should just back off and leave them alone now.

Your comment does not suggest that only some of it is, otherwise you should have stated "As it is evident reading the posts on here, some of which are vacuous bile, .......". By saying "just reading the vacuous bile on this board" implies, to me, in my opinion, that all of it is.

I never said I knew anybody that has not made mistakes.

But that does not mean we should not stick up for someone who is being treated appallingly!

Jade admitted her actions were wrong, Danielle admitted her actions were wrong, do you think they would have done this and acknowledged this if everybody had sat back and smiled, and said "hey, it's only a gameshow"

It is not the people on here that are not leaving them alone, I doubt Jade/Jo read these posts, it is the media that is not leaving them alone, so take your problem to them instead of venting your anger towards people on these boards.

Admittedly, but your comments are only as clear as they are perceived by other people, not yourself, so it always best to be concise. And FYI, I was one of the people who was saying we should lay off the girls from week 1, and got accused by others of being sucked into "the sympathy campaign". Not that I give a **** about that.

Yes I agree we should highlight errors of improper conduct and behaviour which come to light on a television show, but that doesn't mean we should demonize these people guilty of it as hate figures.

And I am not directing any anger at anyone on this board, I questioning people's intelligence when all they have to do is talk about tabloid stories and take everything written as fact. My anger is towards the newspapers believe me. I've had a problem with the tabloids since the death of Princess Diana, but what can I do alone against Rupert Murdoch's newspaper empire and the Mirror group? If I told them what I have said about them on these boards they would laugh in my face

A very good point. There must have been lies on both sides of the story. I have little sympathy for the girls as I know they're trying their damndest to spin this their own way.

I agree with this too, but I fear they value their celebrity status much more than their dignity. I notice that only the Star has a CBB headline and it's a Shilpa related headline. Maybe, people are already starting to leave them alone and concentrate on the positive.

I'm intrigued by the different routes Jo, Jade and Danielle have gone down since coming out of the house. Jade appeared on every talk show going (especially those hosted by people who share her manager) to say how sorry she was, how disgusted with herself she was, and of course she's got two children, so we can't hate her. Then she checked herself - very publicly - into the Priory, only to decide that actually she can't be bothered with all that, and leaves a few days later.

Jo tried every spoilt brat's method of stamping her feet and saying, "It's not my fault, it wasn't me, it's your fault, you've made me look bad." When that doesn't work she turned on the waterworks.

Danielle decided instead to say how desperately sorry she was and then inform everyone that "it's much worse for me, my Teddy's dumped me, hang on a minute while I get my kit off."

Not one of them actually comes off as caring about the way their behaviour affected anyone else - they just seem to be bothered about what effect it's hand on them.

Now, don't get me wrong - I don't like or trust the media. I don't agree with witch-hunts, and I think the idiots making death threats are stupid and pathetic (but as GRiT pointed out, most celebrities receive death threats, although obviously that doesn't make them alright.)

Jo, Jade and Danielle are probably not bad people. To me, a bad person is someone like Ian Huntley or Adolf Hitler. But I don't think those girls are nice people either, and their behaviour in the house was bad. We've all done bad or stupid things, we've all said things that we know we shouldn't have said. But that doesn't make it okay.
