I just downloaded the latest version of GIMP and it is really confusing and hard to use.

GIMP's confusing at first but as you use it, it becomes simple.

I used it for about a year before I got photoshop so I can kinda help.

Hey, does anyone know how to get rid of white backgrounds on pictures? I tried typing it in on google but it just came back with photoshop tutorials. I read something about tracing around a picture? Which I tried but I couldn't do well. Is there any simple way to do it? Any help would be much appreciated.
