Excellent news, if you ask me. Simon Ashdown in particular may be able to pull out an entertaining episode every now and then but exerts far too much influence over the show and is in part responsible for the Branning domination, IMO. It's about time new blood stepped in. |

Finally, about time the BBC paid attention to the state of EE.

He'll only leave by himself if hes got something else to do.
All he can do is puppet shows in theatres, which is what he was doing before he joined EE ![]() So hopefully he doesn't leave. Hes doing good. Representing South East London.

He won the award for best newcomer so I don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon (and rightly so)
Glad that their stepping their weave up and getting rid of the irrelevants. They're also starting to beat Emmerdale again in the official ratings Last edited by Gstar; 30-10-2013 at 02:00 PM. |

Whatever about EastEnders beating Emmerdale last night but it still remains that a vast amount of viewers have dropped off and I just have to ROFL at a 0.2m lead being a victory and I'd expect nothing less with Michael's death this week.
7.1 million at this time of year is still a disgrace. |

we are talking about soaps. my preference on EE is not is not very high and i am sorry you feel this is negative. it is my fact and the also with the news it is very low, i must not be the only one thinking this.
i would just like to say i am very happy emmerdale best soap won best soap and i have wrote a positive poem on this on this forum somewhere. so for you to say my negative comments are getting tiring is a bit harsh. what is getting tiring is watching EE and this is what needs change. i might even do a fantastic happy poem on it if it changes - but don't hold your breath. i do think EE has lost its way.
