So Luke is doing Best Thing I Never Had and Something About The Way You Look Tonight. Disappointing at first glance, but I'm sure he'll be fine with the Beyonce song, he'll probably do something more stripped back like:

Will work nicely. The Elton song could be problematic if he stays close to the original arrangement. Possible cheesefest. The song actually sounds really nice on guitar. I think it would be great if he does it acoustically.

Luke's got it tough this week due to the simple fact that the songs aren't very known and we know a large portion of the public vote on the song and not on the actual performance so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah, the Beyonce choice is extremely strange. It makes me think he picked that song with a cool arrangement already in mind, perhaps he covered it in the past or something. He was on This Morning and said he'll be dancing about during it, weird. "Best Thing I Never Had" actually charted higher than "Halo" in the UK oddly enough.

And then there's a picture on FB from rehearsals of him with his guitar so I imagine he'll have his guitar for the Elton song. And for what it's worth, this (https://twitter.com/simonkaston) guy was at rehearsals and singled out Luke as being incredible.

We'll see what happens.

The beyonce theme was probably conjured up when tamera was still in.

Luke was decent but he performed beyonce and Elton's lower selling less recognised recent songs.

I like Luke but it's really obvious he's not as astute or wiley as Nicholas and Sam who know exactly what they're doing. Nicholas crying, mentioning Scotland, Sam pretending she is worried about being voted out, feigning knowledge that she knows she's the favourite [ her whole, who me? act is soo phony ]

So happy! And he's got GREAT song choices for next week, "We Are Young" and "What Makes You Beautiful", what a huge step up from this week! He's gonna KILL "We Are Young".

He's coming in third place, but this is such a huge accomplishment for him. He was fodder not too long ago. <3 Btw, has anyone ever made the final after being in the B2 this many times? lol.

Not sure. But there's always a first time. He's been gaining popularity lately.

Samantha Jade made the final and won X Factor Australia last year, after being in the B2, three times (IN THE FIRST LIVE SHOW AS WELL).

I don't think Luke has enough momentum and support to do that, Sam is unstoppable, but he's still done great to make it <3.
