Yeah, that would also be an option.

In your scenario, would it be clear why the gun was in your face. I mean, would it seem to be a robbery, or a hostage situation, or a sexual assault. Because if the motive was clear, the reaction would be very different.

to be fair it could be anyone of those scenario's, I have deliberately left out there motive and their sex, just to add the element of the unknow.
