I don't know why you make it out as if Del Boy is in this super top form where he can dismantle top players but ok.

BD your knowledge of tennis stretching back 12 months is showing once again

Form in not as important as player matchups in this sport along with most others. Fed is on a different level to Rafa and like with most match ups with him was coming in on better form however the moonball to the SHBH is one Fed can't do anything about

With Del Boy HE LOVES those moonballs and quite enjoys leaning in to them off either wing and smashing straight past Rafa. There is a reason why DeL Boy has handed Rafa beatings no other player has

Anyone who thinks Rafa is the GOAT is just laughable. Can you imagine him playing on the fast courts early 2000's/90's just LOOOOOOOL the likes of Rafa , Andy and Djoko (not as much ast the other 2) would be top 20 players at best in condtions prior to the great slow down off courts mid 2000's to help these pushers

Yeah, gave him a proper beating at Indian Wells last year.

Yep.

Li Na trying to accomplish her dream finally vs Cibulvoka who quietly destroyed all of her opponents when nobody would have ever picked her as a finalist >>> Nadal squashing some poor Swiss.

While the WTA matches haven't been top quality, well then neither has most of the ATP ones either I much prefer it

It won't start until about 9am tomorrow.. she's always been on first the past few rounds because of the Chinese fans, but they always have 9am finals for AO!

The slowing down of the courts started in the late 90s, not to enable "pushers" but to take away the advantage of servebots. This partnered with the added emphasis on the return game amongst the youngsters, the unrecognisable rise in physicality and the changes in raquet technology are the reasons for the change in the game. Simply putting it down to one factor is idiotic.

And contrary to tennis purist beliefs, the general public like watching longer rallies, not the boring two swings and point over kind of tennis of the 90s.

Sorry LOVE but NO ONE enjoys two players tapping the ball back at each other with the intention of NOT LOSING THE POINT rather THEN WINNING THE POINT. The fact remains Nadal would struggle immensely in pretty much any era OUTSIDE CLAY prior to the great slow down of the mid 2000's where clay is as fast as if not faster then Wimby

So don't spout that rubbish with me

You've been reading too much Tennis Forum, haven't you?

And I actually LOLd at the "tapping" part. Today's "pushers" (as you would say) hit the ball harder than aggressive players from previous eras. But whatever, you carry on regurgitating that Tennis Forum nonsense.

WTF is tennis forum???? Whatever it is I take it as a HUGE compliment you believe I follow a tennis forum when it is maybe 10th in the list of sports I follow which really shows my catalogue of knowledge

Yes I agree Nadal MOONBALLS are one of the hardest shots in the game looooool please stop with this nonsense

I deal in facts and the fact is Rafa IN ANY OTHER ERA OUTSIDE CLAY prior to this era WHERE THE FRENCH IS FASTER THEN WIMBY would struggle to be a top 10 player

Is suppose your one of "THOSE" who thought the Murray Djoko Us final was ENTERTAINING lol two men pushing balls over the net waiting for the other to miss there shot lol I THINK INDOOR BOWLS would be more your taste

I wondered where he got some of his work from

Urgh, I'm so nervous for Li, I just want her to win this year, glad to hear she won't even contemplate retiring though win or loss <3.
