Helen was a prostitute, yes. But she had her reasons. It was most likely a last resort for money and we are definitely not in a position to judge. I would bet my life that the majority of people hating on Hel would say the exact same thing if it didn't concern her. So why are people applying a different set of standards to her and spewing all this venom? Surely that's bit hypocritical?

To those who aren't being hypocrites and would apply the same standards to all prostitutes, Helen's profession is in the past and she's no longer selling herself. Can a person not regret their actions and move on in their lives? Are you really saying she can never have any moral authority ever again because of something she did at one point of her life? That's incredibly heartless. How many mistakes have you exactly made? What if I never let you forget that one time you did something you so badly wish never happened? Would you have any of it? No. So in that sense you're just as guilty of hypocrisy too. In the end of the day, Helen was just offering constructive advice based on her own experience. She doesn't want Kimberley to commit the same mistakes she did and suffer the same kind of backlash, which is totally understandable. Surely Helen bashers really need to start looking for the good in people instead of solely dwelling on the bad.

I'm not even done there, there's a hint of misogyny with all this hate too. Wayne Rooney was simply another client, it was HIS decision to hire out Helen for her services and it shouldn't be her concern whether he's married or not. In the end of the day it was Wayne who deceived the ones he was close to, not Helen. But typical of the woman getting all the blame eh? How many threads were made in the World Cup section calling Rooney a homewrecker before he scored that goal yesterday? None. Was there ever any more proof not needed? Not forgetting to mention exactly how disgustingly sexist the words 'slag' and '*****' are that people seem to be bandying about on the site. Truly sickening to see this kind of hate on here.

So please, to those who keep bringing up Helen's personal life. Just think about the kind of things you are saying.

Really getting sick of seeing words like 'home wrecker' and slag bandied about on here, it's exactly the same as those people who blame the person who cheated with their partner (usually a woman) more than their partner themselves. The latent misogyny is not only disgusting but it's also quite scary.

Also if it emerged that someone like Jale or Kimberly had been a prostitute, I can almost guarantee those terms wouldn't be used as much as they are for Helen, it's just because it's her that they are. And just because she's acting like a **** in the house it doesn't give people the right to drag up totally irrelevant issues and use misogynistic terminology. Criticise her present actions, not her past.

I think that's less about misogyny and more about self defense, more than likely the wife loves her husband so it's harder to hate him then the person who slept with him and alot of times they end up staying together, it's easier to direct that anger at the person who was on the outside not the person who you were married to.

I don't agree with calling her a slag etc but I can understand why her past is being brought up when she's trying to act like the beacon of morality and girl power over this shower business

I totally see what you're saying and get why people may end up feeling that way, but at the end of the day the partner is the one in the relationship, the onus is on them not to cheat. Number one - if your partner cheats on you with one that's their problem, not the prostitutes. Number two - if you (not you, I mean in general lol) don't wish to be involved in the world of prostitution then fair enough, but if so...why do you care whether other people use them or become them? Number three - some prostitutes are actually forced into that kind of life either physically or because they don't have many other legitimate means of making a living for themselves, to criticise them for that when we should be criticising the social conditions that lead them there is really just saddening IMO.

Well, I don't think people are not saying Wayne was at fault or more at fault, it's just that, well he's not a HM and we're discussing Helen the HM and of course I agree that the cheater is much much worse, I think in alot of high profile cases like this one and David beckham/Rebecca Lois(?) case for example they got a worse time of it I think because, they basically used what should have been something to be ashamed of as a way to become famous and earn some cash

I would never call another woman a slag, I despise that word, especially coming from another woman, that's my girl code

The point I'm making here is (and this nothing to do with what I think about prostitution) I just think, if you're in that job, you go into it knowing that probably a large chunk of your clients will be married and will be cheating on their partners, fair enough that's their issue not yours but if in your normal life you're of the opinion that girls should have some sort of a code and not even shower clothed with men who are attached(and I use that term loosely here since Winston barely even knows Tamara) how can you not say it's rich or hypocritical? It's either the attached persons fault or it's not, whether you're being paid or not, do you understand what I'm trying to say? (I'm not trying to be patronizing here, I just don't know If I'm explaining myself very well )

She ranted to Kimberly that her going into the same shower cubicle was being disrespectful towards Tamara (who isn't even in a relationship with Winston & knew him for ONE week!) when Helen shows NO respect towards anyone else at all in the house, let alone showing anyone any respect outside of the house! She didn't show much respect for Coleen Rooney when she slept with Wayne & then sold her story to a tabloid & the woman clearly has zero self respect for being a prostitute in the first place...

Tbf Helen was always gonna hurt herself with people last night in particular, I do think though that the people wanting her pass revoked pretending that she's not entertaining (because let's face it not many of the others are) and attacking her for any argument even though she can have some valid points in them (like Kimberly and Winston going into that shower together they definitely wanted some attention in the house and from the public) but people will never admit to that because all they seem to think about is that Helen used to be a Prostitute because a lot of people don't even mention the Wayne Rooney affair.
