The basics for those new to the case:
1) Cadaver scent was found by British police sniffer dogs in the apartment. No previous deaths were reported there.
2) Madeleine’s blood was found behind the sofa by British police sniffer dogs, under the tiles where Cadaver had also been picked up.
3) Madeleine's blood and DNA were found in the hire car, which had been hired 25 days AFTER her disappearance.
4) Kate refused to answer 48 out 49 questions that could have helped find Madeleine.
5) Kate didn't physically search for Madeleine.
6)The Portuguese police weren't informed of Madeleine’s disappearance until 45 minutes after the alarm was raised.
7)There isn't any evidence to support the abduction theory other than Jane Tanners sighting (which has now been dismissed by both SY and PJ) and Kate's reports of the shutters being Jemmied/broken/smashed open (it was confirmed that the shutters hadn't been damaged and were impossible to be opened from the outside.)
8)The McCann’s spent the fund to find Madeleine on their mortgage and legal bills, despite early assurances that this would not happen.
9)The McCann's suppressed the e-fits SY are now using for 5 years.
10)The new e-fits came from the Smith family from Ireland. Martin Smith later contacted the police as he was 60/80% certain the man he saw carrying the child matching Madeleine's description was Gerald McCann.

They've refused to cooperate with the police over their own little girl's disappearance! I think they're terrible, terrible people. Why would you not answer every single question and try your absolute best to get her back? Arseholes. I ****ing hate them!!!

Good Post, cuts through all the BS and lays out the reality of the situation. The little girl has indeed gone and she ain't ever coming back. The actions of the McCanns and the evidence as listed in Chuff's earlier post really do start to paint a dark picture of the real sequence of events that night.

The fact it was so convincinly and expertly sold as an abduction even though there is a complete lack of evidence for this suggest more powerful forces were at work here, and although not wanting to get bogged down by Conspiracy theories, you can't help it when you look at this case.

Thanks for this. I didn't follow it at the time but reading the the link, I am shocked. This is the man they're currently suing. The dogs picked up cadaver and blood scent in the back of the car and on the car key. Cadaver and blood scent in the front garden. Also cadaver scent in the master bedroom, 2 pieces of Kate's clothing, one of Madeleine's and her teddy bear. Why was all of this dismissed? As you say the police weren't regarding this as an abduction it was the McCanns who pushed that at the media. I read one report where she'd said the police didn't want a murder on their hands (The third block down in the link).They had also selectively deleted several texts on their mobiles immediately afterwards.

I don't understand how anyone would be shocked if it was eventually proven that the McCann's murdered their daughter to live off the fame and fortune that came after. We live in a world full of cruelty, abuse, torture, rape and war.

I'm of the opinion, and it's just my opinion, that she accidentally died because she fell and hit her head after they drugged her so they could go out and have dinner with their friends; he came back and found her, got rid of the body, they quickly figured out what they would say along with their friends and then eventually raised the alarm. Their refusal to cooperate with the police and the contradictions they've given over the years and the way their stories have changed all add up to making them look highly suspicious and I just can't see any other scenario that doesn't implicate them. Even in the unlikely event they really had nothing to do with her disappearance, it's still 100% their fault that anyone had the opportunity to take their daughter in the first place and for that they should be punished. Terrible people and I hope they're caught out eventually.

I know young children can say wierd things BUT given all the other evidence in this case this is very suspicious and adds even more weight to the Conspiracy theories floating around.

This info is relayed via the book written by the Portuguese detective...No wonder the McCanns tried to stop this book being published.

Maybe more people should read this book and get a more balanced view of this whole sordid case.

You don't still think there was an actual third person (paedophile) that "stole her away" do you...??

More and more people are now starting to look at all the evidence from that night and are thinking more along the lines of some sort of tragic accident and then a cover up.

There is so little evidence to suggest any sort of third party involvement.

Its banned in UK (I wonder why ?) but if you are in justice for maddy group on facebook the link is there to it in English and the documentry which goes alongside it ,when i get my new computer will post links, but dont know how to on this bloody thing !!the book written my Sen Amaral is based on police files, they fight it ( even though several books have been written on the case ,all ( apart from Kates ) saying more or less the same thing ) because they KNOW its police files and if its not banned ,it throws away the lies they have told
